Just make sure to plug the dual power cables into their plugs first - then seat the new video card, otherwise you won’t have enough space to maneuver. So, the new card drives both with zero fan noise. My one regret is that the mother board only has two power plugs for the cable - I had hoped to keep using the original 1GB Radeon card to drive the 2nd monitor. On its own, this beast simply draws way too much power through the PCI slot, so this is a clever solution. I think the key is the custom power cable that OWC bundles with this card. Gotta say I was skeptical of plugging a non-supported PC card into the Mac and expect it to flame on with no problems. 10.14 and up requires the “metal” video card, and my stock system was no longer compatible. Hit the wall when OSX 10.14 was released, not to mention no more application updates.
